Hau-nia Has

Mango season has begun! Today is a bit windy and they are falling from the trees above me (I am still working outside in the courtyard). Everyone at the office can hear when one falls - either the loud thud on the roof or the rattle of one hitting the gravel - and a good, big mango doesn't last long once it has landed. The race to get the mango was up until today very subtle - the mango just vanished. But today, after one loud thud, the office manager broke the silence and squeaked "Hau-nia!" ("Mine!").

The picture is from the tree in the compound. In the courtyard, all the little, undesireable, mangos collect under the bushes like easter eggs.
