I'm working this week to clean off my desk and finish reports so that my fast-approaching holiday in Darwin can involve worry-free napping and record-breaking stretches without checking my email. The plan while I'm there (1-11 June), napping aside, is to do a bit of camping, buy a bike and check out the birds in Kakadu national park. At 19,804 sq km/7,646 sq miles, the park is over three times the size of my beloved Rhode Island and just under the size of New Jersey. Very exciting; very excited.
