Ah, spring. The season created so that we all forget about winter.
Bare legs. Reading in the park. No need for bike lights at 4 PM.
It is absolutely gorgeous here. Everything is in bloom. A friend from Brown visited the other day and we went to the Evensong service at Christ Church and then walked through the meadows and back up the cobbled streets into town. Much of the city and colleges are walled, but magnolias and cherry trees reached over the edges, hinting at the gardens within.
I am in the midst of conference chaos and studying for my qualifying exams, but, hey, the sun is out. Imperial history goes down more smoothly on a park bench.

Your college IS gorgeous indeed! We got a spitting of snow today before the precip turned back into rain. BTW the wedding cake looks really good--I loved watching the video to see how they make those smooth yummies. And one of these days I am going to send you all the Patagonia bird photos in an album. I promise.
